Some of Sky's critiques:

  • Darlington Championship Show - BCC & BOB
  • O/w lightly roaned and well-marked, larger cast, but within standard. What a stunning girl, beautiful feminine head, with tight skin highlighting the gorgeous chiselling and sculpting to her face and cheeks, tight lips and pretty muzzle, high set ear, lovely obliquely set brown eyes, demonstrating a soft but alert expression of the Breton, love her head, very long legs but square and cobby, with well-developed fore chest, excellent spring of rib and brisket reaching elbows, excellent slightly sloping topline and strong, short loin with correct angulation of croup to tail, and excellent angulation of both fore and hindquarters, tight elbows, lovely broad thighs and rounded buttocks, moved well overall. BCC and BOB.

  • Hampshire Gundog Club - BOB
    • Jassendue Usoa – What a super Brittany! Such a pretty headed bitch with correct head shape, intelligent expression, dark eyes and well laid back shoulders into slightly sloping topline. Balanced construction with well muscled rear hindquarters, tight feet and moved with correct brisk, short strides. One to watch for the future as only 16 months old! Best of Breed

    • BCGB Championship Show - 1st JB, RBCC & RBIS -

Jassendue Usoa, 16 months o/w, excellent Breton head with moderate stop, dark oval expressive eye, median line slightly defined, high set ears giving that true Brittany expression, deep chest & brisket down to elbows, ratio of leg length to brisket correct, short back and loin, moderately well boned, correct angulations front and rear, clipped gait showing little rear extension. RBCC & RBIS

    • Club de l’Epagneul Breton Nationale D' Elevage 2024 in France - 1st Exc, RCAC

Sky was awarded 1st Excellent in the o/w intermediate female class (under 2 eminent French breed specialists) and went on to challenge for the CAC and was the awarded the RCAC over 51 other o/w females.

    - 15 mths, 50 cms, complete set of teeth, excellent model all together perfect example of the Breed, correct angulations and excellent movement.

      • Hampshire Gundog Club - BOB

Orange and White Bitch. This bitch really stood out for me. A very pretty, feminine head - well proportioned with 3 to 2 skull to muzzle ratio and with nothing overdone. Expressive, well placed eyes and short ears carried high. A nice short back, strong loin and with a correct leg to body ratio gave her that all important square outline when viewed side on. Good topline with gentle slope to croup. Lovely clipped action on the move, once fully settled and holding a strong topline. Another young dog with plenty of time on her side and should have a good future.

      • Jassendue Usoa - BP & PG4  11 month old Brittany Bitch, good in profile, with a good length of foreleg. Please head of the correct proportions. Nice eye. Long enough in neck. Sound in shoulder s and Rib, strong through topline and loin, nice croup. Well muscled for age and not overdone in stifle. Good feet. Moved out with the correct, short but brisk, gait.

      • Midland Counties Championship show - BP & RBB - 7 month old bitch that really took my eye, loved her quality and type, so well balanced for her age, in tip top form with good expression, correct bone for size, very sound and presented in good order.

      • South Western Gundog Open - BP & RBOB - 7 months bitch, lovely shape, adequate bone and angulation , good body and spring of rib, short coupled and stood square, moved well and really showed her brisk movement. (shortlisted in the gundog group)

      • Gundog Society of Wales Championship show - BP, BB & BOS  - 7 month old O/W bitch, feminine head of good proportion and high set ears, good depth of chest for age and good leg to body height proportions. Strong hind quarters and good rear angulation. Moved at a good pace and very soundly. Needs to mature all around but very promising. (shortlisted in the gundog group)

      • Mid Western Gundog Open - BPIB & BOB - Bright O/W bitch, 6 mths who took my eye immediately as she was decidedly square & cobby, good head proportions with parallels, oval eye that was slightly oblique, well set and relatively short ear, clean front, limited angles, deep chest,, correct slight slope from withers to croup, tail was set high, moved with desired short stride & true, surely a "real" future prospect.

      • BCGB Open - PB & BPIS - Well made youngster with the required square appearance. Pleasing head, well set ears along with a bright clear eye. Clean over the neck & shoulders, good depth of chest for her age along with a well developed body. Had that typical movement brisk and holding her topline at all times.

      • Darlington Championship show PB & BPIB - She made me smile as soon as I watched her moving around the ring. She was cool calm & collected. Unfortunately her owner wouldn't let her come home with me. She has everything in the right place for it all to come together and that is all i am going to say about this absolutely cracking puppy.
